This is the new name the Belgian artist Sandy chose when she decided to try her luck for the Eurovision Song Contest of 2004.
Before becoming Belgium's entry in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, energetic vocalist Xandee (born Sandy Boets) was in the duo Touch of Joy. Her first single as a solo artist, "1 Life," was a number one hit in Belgium before its Eurovision nomination. It also became the title track to Xandee's 2004 debut.
