Born in 1974, Cyril Thévenard released his first work, the Vulcan EP, with Choice Records and left the electronic scene for six years, til the release of Volt Age EP on Vitalic's label.
John Lord Fonda/JLF is another product of the Citizen Records Factory and he is certainly bound for a glorious future. His first vynil opus has been warmly welcomed by major producers and this first CD is of a darker and colder style. Anyway the Dijon based musician is capable of a strong diversity. His music could easily seduce deejays and techno freaks as well as a pop and rock audience, because it is where he comes from. Talking about the music…we’ll start from the acid & mechanical « Music is not computer algebra » passing through the massive-electro of « George ».and the Moroder trip of « So far away ». Among the new stuff, you find the epileptic remix of « Personal Jesus » (appreciated by the band we hope…) sacred union of trance music, hypnotic climb, huge beat and saturate reminds from the original song. « Erase my hanger » is an electro-pop hymn with “technoïds” emanations, in the Vitalic vain. « Never Change» is an electro /breakbeat tale with hip-hop tone and finally «Slavery », is a travel to the BDSM unniverse which fascinate him. In Bonus, some shorts synthetic tracks cary out this project.
