1. - RAQUELA® is an American, Theatrical Dance-Pop, House, singer/songwriter, actress, stage performer and Billboard charting recording artist. She has opened for Grammy artsts like Lady Gaga, Deborah Cox, Lisa Lisa, Erika Jayne, Kristine W, Luciana, Robin S, CC Penniston, Crystal Waters and Stevie B. She has been seen on Broadway playing leading roles alongside Cloris Leachman, Tom Bosely and Toni Collette. She was endorsed into 2 California Proclamations by Senator Diane Feinstein for her civil duties as the 1st Mexican American crowned, “Miss Orange County”. Raquela’s 1999, award winning release of, “Confessions of the Disco Diva”, recognized her as the 1st Lady of Theatrical Dance-Pop. She is a voting member of the Grammys and can be seen in the new Las Vegas dance/variety independent television series, “Mickey Oliver’s, Intensi-T TV”.

In 2011, her song “If I could do it all again” is one of the 24 selected songs to compete to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest. The song was penned by Marc Paelnick (music) and Mathias Strasser (lyrics). Her 2010 participation was penned by Maltese Eurovision veterans Philip Vella and Gerard James Borg, called “Here I am,” but failed to progress to the final. Previously, in 2009, her song “Crossroads” qualified to the Maltese final and ultimately ended up on 11th place with 71 points.
