DVD: Rock America Dance July 1984
Performer(s)
Stacey Q
Q, Stacey Q., Stacy Q
Californian New Wave / Pop singer, mainly known for the 1986 hit single Two Of Hearts. She was also the lead singer of SSQ, as well as a founding member of the minimal synth group Q (16).
Ssq
Short-lived 1980s California synth-pop project that came after Q and prior to Stacey Q's and Jon St. James' solo careers. Members worked in various arrangements both before and after SSQ's existence. In a radio interview on September 22, 2006, Swain revealed that the idea for the name SSQ actually came from Jon St. James. She said that he was fishing in a lake "no bigger than a bathtub" and made a joke that the boat was the "S.S. Q," a reference to his and Stacey's current band, Q.
