However, in December 2015, Ora filed a lawsuit against Roc Nation, citing that the contract she signed in 2008 was "unenforceable", due to California's "seven-year rule." Although Roc Nation filed a counter-lawsuit against Ora for breaking her recording contract, in January 2016, they reached a settlement in May 2016 and Ora was released from her contract. In June 2016, she signed a record deal with Atlantic Records. The debut single from her second studio album, Your Song, was released on 26 May 2017.
