Doruntina Disha (Serbo-Croat: Doruntina Diša) is an Kosovan-Albanian singer born on July 4, 1988 in Prishtina. At the age of four, she and her family migrated to Norway, where she now lives in Oslo. She is a student at the Oslo Gymnasium and loves to study psychology. Since childhood, Doruntina has been involved in various cultural and community activities. She began playing music when she first started playing the flute and then started singing. On March 19, 2005, Doruntina appeared at a music audition in Oslo organized by "Power Hit Radio", which arranged "Poëer Star Search". Doruntina earned the audience's vote with Celine Dion's song, "My Heart Will Go On", she performed wonderfully and qualified her for the finals. The finals of the 10 finalists was on May 7, 2005 in Drammenof, Norway. There, Doruntina was incredibly well received by an audience of thousands, and it was very easy for the jury to announce her the winner of the "Power Star Search" contest. Shortly after this great victory, the Dreamfactory production offered Doruntina a contract and within a week she launches her first song titled "Dreamworld". On 25 June 2005, Doruntina officially launches her first single and music video. Her song "Dreamworld", with its rhythmic and coastal melodies, ranked among the most successful hits of the summer of 2005. Her personality is characterized by openness, communion with people and spirit. Her desire is to work in communication. After releasing her second single "I Burn 4 you" and music video, Doruntina went on a round of promotion across Kosovo and Albania, where she was accompanied by manager Ola Kleiven and journalist from Norway. In Albania, she was invited to concerts and musical events in Vlora and Tirana, and her break continued on the beach of Durrës. She also started collaborating with the composer from Albania Flori, working on future collaborations combining Albanian melodies with that of her pop/rock genre.
